From 1991 to 1998 he was a soloist in the Ballett Nürnberg, where he has also presented his first choreographic works. Other engagements followed with Ballett Dortmund, Ballett Linz and Staatstheater Oldenburg.

He danced in choreographies by William Forsythe – Rui Horta – Jacopo Godani - Amedeo Amodio – Giuseppe Carbone – David Sutherland – Gregor Zöllig – Antonio Gomes – Robert Poole - Jean Renshaw  - Martin Stiefermann – Birgit Cullberg – Amanda Miller, among others.

Some of his early pieces won prizes at Choreographic Competitions in Firenze, Treviso, Düsseldorf and Hannover. In 1999 he was selected by Jorma Uotinen for “SiWiC”, a coaching project for choreographers in Zürich. In 2000 he attended a dance-for-video course with Thierry de Mey and Philippe Decouflé and received a scholarship for choreographic studies hosting at Icelandic Ballet, Nederlands Danstheater, Göteborg Balletten and  Komische Oper Berlin.

As a free-lance choreographer he created choreographies for Theater Kiel, Staatstheater Oldenburg, Theater Stralsund/Greifswald, Theater Aachen, Theatre de S. Quentin en Yvelines, Ballett Nürnberg, Ballett Linz, Theatre Odeon/Bucharest, Stadttheater Giessen, Landesbühnen Sachsen, Theater Bielefeld, a.o. He was often invited to various Theatres or Dance Academies as a guest teacher both in ballet and contemporary dance.

From 2001 to 2006 he was rehearsal director for the Dance Company at Staatstheater Oldenburg assisting the work of the house choreographer Martin Stiefermann and guest choreographer such as Kevin O’Day, Guy & Rony, Marianela Boan and Gregor Zöllig.

In 2006 he co-founded the dance and theatre group “movingtheatre.de/tanz” based in Köln. His choreographies “Pop Eye” and “Site specific” within this ensemble have been awarded the Dance Theatre Prize of Cologne in 2006 and 2009.

From 2009 to 2011 he has been teaching full time contemporary classes, partnering and improvisation at the “Hochschule für Musik und Tanz” in Köln. In 2012 he has been guest ballet master and rehearsal director at Internationaal Dans Theater Amsterdam,  in 2012-2013 faculty teacher at Palucca Hochschule für Tanz in Dresden and in 2014 guest Assistant and Ballet Master at Theater Heidelberg.

Currently, besides being guest choreographer and teacher, he organizes free-scene dance projects under his label subsTANZ. The forthcoming productions range from pieces for a conventional stage to site-specific projects dealing with actual and relevant themes of our contemporary society. His intent is to create movement and situations which both captivate and challenge the audiences.

In 2015 he has been working with opera singers and dancers on a piece created by the musician Scott Joplin at the Schauspielhaus Dresden and with the students of Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden for a full evening piece based on his existing choreography "Time lapse". In the meantime he has also been invited by the Goethe Institute to give two contemporary dance  workshops in Tunisia.
