Yvan Dubreuil

Born in Paris on the 26th of May 1970. Follows the teaching of Max Bozzoni, Raymond Franchetti and Jacques Lecoque before joining in 1985 the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musiaue in Paris where is receives the teachings of Serge Golovine, Cyril Atanassof, Mickael Denard. After finishing his training with success he enters the Netherlands Dans Theater 2 in 1989 and from 1991 until 2009 dances with NDT1. During which he will grow under the creative works of Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek, Hans van Manen, Nacho Duato, Johan Inger, Paul Lightfoot, Saburo Teshigawara, Crystal Pite, among others… Along this he has been involved in many other projects as co- choreographer, dramaturg, set designer, teacher or ballet master and creating or staging ballets for a wide range of creators from Jiri Kylian to Johan Inger, Carine Guizzo or Dylan Newcomb.Yvan holds a dance teacher diploma from the Centre National de la Danse in Paris: he is also involved in pedagogical coaching in various dance schools (CNSM Paris, Koninklijke Conservatorium- Den Haag)

He is now also part of the collective OFFprojects as danser and artistic adviser in collaboration with choreographer Amos Ben-Tal.
